So I have this beautiful linen sketchbook and it’s completely blank and in the nicest white linen stock. I love it but I’ve been thinking I want to do something really special to personalize it a bit more. I’ve also been coming across a lot of beautiful embroidery work lately and the two thoughts intersected and now I really want to embroider this sketchbook.
How can you not want to try it with all the lovely inspirations out there for this kind of project? Wish me luck because I will probably cry if I mess up my lovely sketchbook. Ok. Not really.

Over the weekend the boyfriend and I attended Unique LA, one of my most favorite local events, and he purchased this awesome tee from Timber Preservation Society.
I really dig the style, the illustrations on these screenprinted tees is so detailed and fun and whimsical and just awesome. They’re so different than what you normally see on tees that I just had to feature them. And I found out that they’ve been a featured seller on etsy before too! The interview is over a year old so I guess I’m a little late to the party on this one but oh well.
I stumbled across this site while researching for an upcoming project yesterday. I really dig their site design. So original and fun! Plus, at redvelvetart you can buy some lovely handmade goods which is always good!
Well, at least it is to me. For my tastes and personality this is absolutely ideal. Everything is beautiful and has so much personlaity and it still feels fun and modern. Now, I’m completely aware that this wedding is you know, a bit old. Like every wedding blog posted about it MONTHS ago….but I dont care. I’m a rebel. Yea, that’s right. First spotted it via: Green Wedding Shoes.
I’ve been researching some packaging to get inspired for an upcoming project and I found TONS of cool stuff. Of course via The Dieline and Lovely Package.
Go here. Go. I’ll wait.
See what I mean? Gorgeous! Absolutely!
Man its been a while! But what can I say? Life requires a lot of my attention lately. But there’s fun stuff ahead! Like The Renegade Craft Fair! And it’s free!!! Woot woot! Free craft event = awesome. There’s quite a few scheduled dates but here in L.A it will be at the Market Center downtown and I am oh so excited. There’s going to be a Swap O Rama held their that day. I’m thinking of participating but I’m still ont he fence about it, can anyone recommend?
